I understand that off the bat this sounds pretentious but bare with me. If life is a straight line going from left to right and we add hills for the monumental moments in life, the good, happy, joyous moments. And we add valleys for the low moments, the sad, heart breaking, depressing states we experience. What we end up with us a diverse landscape of peaks and gorges. And what’s special about this is that everyone’s is different and unique. Some people will have a mountain range and some will have more deep canyons.

At the time of writing this I will have posted 25 podcast episodes under the ‘Volumes’ brand that can be watched on YouTube and listened to on either Apple Podcasts or Spotify. And there are currently 4 scheduled to upload over the next few weeks.

But now that I’ve gotten my plug out the way, I want to answer the question that every guest has asked me. Why did you start podcasting? I seems like a straight forward question to answer although I never felt like the answer I would give ever truly represented why I started podcasting.

When I say photo book I don’t mean that dust covered, leather bound album full of your parents wedding photos and pictures of aunts and uncles that you’ve never met but rather what I really mean is something even more obscure.

By photo book I really mean the collection of photos captured by an artist or journalist that is curated into a physical creation. An exhibit that fits into the palms of your hands. And I’m going to explain to you why photo books are important.
